This fruit tree workshop is a must to attend if you are interested in learning how to correctly prune newly purchased or overgrown neglected fruit trees. We will be demonstrating how to properly train and prune apple, peach, and nut trees to get the best production from each type of tree. The pruning demonstration workshop will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10 am to 12 pm at the Central Crops Research Station located at 13223 US Business 70 West in Clayton. There will be time to answer questions on insect and disease control as well as training and pruning questions.

If you are taking the Extension Master Gardener Volunteer℠ class in January, this training is recommended to attend.
