STEPS TO ENROLL IN SUMMER FUN:
This summer Johnston County 4-H is offering a variety of fun and educational activities for youth of all ages. All programs will have limited space and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If necessary, we will start a waitlist for camps.
Click the 4-H online enrollment link below to get started. You will need to create an account in 4-H online first. Once you have submitted your child's 4-H profile, you will need to come back to the summer fun link to register for the camps. IMPORTANT: Program age range is based on their "4-H AGE", which is based on how old they are as of January 1st of the current year.
- *If you have not already* Enroll as a 4-H member in 4-H online
- For the 4-H club, select "Member at Large"
- When it ask for project(s), select at least one subject that interest your child
- They are not required to complete this project it is just to gauge interest.
- Continue through all questions and consents
- Select Submit
- Once enrolled in 4-H online then click the summer fun link below
All payments can be mailed or turned in at the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Johnston County Center located at: 2736 NC 210 HWY Ste A, Smithfield, NC 27577. **WE CAN ONLY ACCEPT CASH OR CHECK.** Make checks payable to "JoCo 4-H"**
Trouble shooting while in 4-H Online registering for camps:
- On the "Select Event" page, select the individual camp you want to register your child for.
- Then you will be brought to a "Sessions" page. Make sure that "Session" MATCHES the "Event" you selected on the previous screen. Select the "Session" and click next.
- If the "Session" does NOT MATCH the "Event" you chose on the previous page, please hit the refresh icon to refresh the web browser. Then see if the "Session" changes to match the "event". This has been a glitch occurring in the 4-H Online registration system.
- Scroll through the "Exposure" page and verify all of your child's health information is correct.
- Sign the "Medical Release" form at the bottom of that page, if you consent. Then click next.
- Read and respond to the 4-H Photo & Media Release Consent form. Then click next.
- Depending on the camp, you may also be required to read and respond to the Transportation Consent Form.
- You will be asked about form of payment. Please remember we can ONLY accept CASH or CHECK.
- Continue until the "Summary" page, verify all the information, and then click "Finish".

- Session 1: STEM Design Lab & Weather programming

- Youth will have to sign a Safety Waiver to participate. This will be sent out a week before the camp to be signed and returned. The waiver can be returned via email or in person the day of the camp.

- AGES: 8 - 15 years old

- Must bring bagged lunch ALL 3 days!

- June 30th "It's a Zoo Life" Group Visit (estimated time frame 8:30am - 1pm)
