This summer Johnston County 4-H is offering a variety of fun and educational activities for youth of all ages. All programs will be limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
**PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL SEND OUT AN EMAIL TOMORROW STATING WHETHER YOUR CHILD RECEIVED A SPACE IN THE CAMP, OR IF THEY HAVE BEEN PLACED ON THE WAITING LIST. WE WILL FILL SPACES BASED ON THE TIMESTAMP OF SUBMISSION.**
Beekeeping 101 – June 14 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
- This program will be in-person at our Extension office. The cost of this program is $20 per child. This program is limited to 15 participants ages 9-15.
- In this hands-on program youth will learn the basics of beekeeping and inspect a beehive. Youth will also learn how to extract honey from a hive and leave with their own honey to take home!

Cooking with Gwen – June 26 -June 29 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- The cost of this program is $80 per child & is limited to 12 participants.
- This program is for youth ages 6-10 years old.
- Youth will be hands-on in the kitchen fixing a breakfast dish, a snack, and a lunch dish. Participants will learn kitchen safety as well.

Cooking with Gwen – July 10 -July 13 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- The cost of this program is $80 per child & is limited to 12 participants.
- This program is for youth ages 11-15 years old.
- Youth will be hands-on in the kitchen fixing a breakfast dish, a snack, and a lunch dish. Participants will learn kitchen safety as well.

4-H Jr. Master Gardener – July 18-July 21 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
- The cost of this program is $25 per child & is limited to 12 participants ages 9-12.
- This program will focus on Wildlife in Johnston County, as well as gardening.
