Project records books highlight what a 4-H’er has learned and done in a specific project area for a period of twelve months. 2024 Record books are due to the Johnston County 4-H office by JANUARY 10TH, 2024 by 5pm. Portfolios are also due JANUARY 10TH by 5pm.

Achievement Plan:


The purpose of this document is to highlight the 4-H member experiences through activities, leadership, citizenship, and service. The Achievement Plan, Honor Club Application, and AIRE applications coincide with one another in terms of 4-H achievements and experiences. This form is meant to be all inclusive of 4-H and non-4-H work, but can be utilized in multiple years for the purposes of applying to each opportunity separately. Please work with your 4-H Agent/Staff to ensure this is being formatted and saved correctly for you.


AIRE (Application, Interview, Resume & Electronic-Video) Program Information & Resource Page:


AIRE (Application, Resume, Interview and Essay) AIRE (Application, Resume, Interview, and Essay) is the process used to select youth to attend National 4-H Trip:  National 4-H Congress, National 4-H Conference, and National Leadership Conference. Youth, ages 14  – 18 are eligible to participate in this program.

Honor Club:


Membership in the North Carolina 4-H Honor Club is bestowed upon those 4-H’ers who have exhibited outstanding 4-H citizenship and leadership throughout their 4-H career.  An Honor Club member continues to provide leadership and service to the total 4-H program throughout life.
