2026 Johnston County Rabbit Show Information

June 8th from 6:30pm - 8pm
- We NEED to know if you will be attending this meeting to know how many rabbits to bring. Please sign up at link below.
Location: Johnston County Livestock Arena 520 County Home Rd. Smithfield, NC 27577
If you would like to borrow a rabbit for the 2026 Johnston County 4-H Rabbit Show, this meeting is mandatory.
- Be ready to take your rabbit home form the information session
- Participation in the Borrowed Rabbit Project cost $30, we can only accept CASH or CHECK. Please make checks payable to the "Happy Hoppers 4-H Club"

- Best care supplies:
  - About 4 sqft of space will be more than plenty for them
  - Rabbit Cage/Hutch (cat carrier, rabbit cage from amazon, small dog kennel, etc.)
  - Heavy food bowl or one that attaches to cage
  - Water bowl or a water bottle
  - Timothy hay would be best, you can also use this as a mat as well.
  - A place for them to rest depending on the cage.
  - Litter depending on if you use a cage with a wore bottom or a litter box the pine pellets work great.

Cost: $20 for the first child and $15 per additional child
- We can only accept CASH or CHECK. Please make checks payable to "Johnston County 4-H"
2026 JoCo 4-H Rabbit Showmanship Clinic Registration Link
- You must ALREADY be enrolled in 4-H online to be able to register for the Showmanship Clinic

August 1st 9am - Finished
Rules and Regulations:
- 2026 Johnston County 4-H Rabbit Show Rules
- Youth MUST be enrolled in 4-H Online to compete in the 4-H Rabbit Show.
Cost: $15 plus $5 per additional rabbit entry.
- We can only accept CASH or CHECK. Please make checks payable to "Johnston County 4-H"
