Join classroom educators, nonformal educators, and natural resource professionals as we explore activities in Project Learning Tree's flagship K-8 activity guide, Explore Your Environment and the newest activity bundle, Forests, Water and People for high school students. The Explore Your Environment activity guide includes 50 of PLT's easy to follow multidisciplinary activities that connect students to nature and increase young people’s awareness and knowledge about their environment. The Forests, Water, and People activity bundle contains three place-based lessons that examine the connections between forests and watersheds, all while investigating their impacts on communities. Every participant will leave the workshop with a copy of both resources -- a $60 value! This workshop qualifies for Criteria I or II in the EE Certification Program (K-12) and CEU renewal credits will be available.

The PLT activity guides are provided free of charge to participants through support from the NC Forestry Association. If the cost of this workshop is a barrier for you, please reach out to the the NC PLT Coordinator, Renee Strnad, at renee_strnad@ncsu.edu.
