What is Safe Plates?

Safe Plates is a Food Protection Manager Certification course in participants are trained in the best food safety practices per the 2017 Food Code. Upon completion of the course, participants are provided an ANSI approved certification exam. 

When is the Next Course Offered?

We are thrilled to once again be able to offer Safe Plates in-person! There is a $125 registration fee (lunch is not included in this fee). Please see details and information below. Deadline to register is May 2, 2022.

Day 1: May 16th (9a-4p; 1-hr lunch break) 

Day 2: May 17th (9a-1p)

Day 3: Exam (begins at 9a)

Johnston Agriculture Center (2736 NC 210 Hwy, Smithfield)

While your attendance both days is not required, it is strongly encouraged in order to pass the certification exam. To register, please return this completed form with your $125 registration fee. At this time, we are unable to accept credit card payment (must pay exact cash or check).
