Fall Into the Mediterranean Diet: Healthy Cooking & Eating Program

Fall into the Mediterranean Diet with us this season!

Don’t let your 2020 health progress fall by the wayside this season. It is never too late to get back on track! This 6-week series will be offered 100% online and will focus on the Mediterranean Diet. 

Why the Mediterranean Diet?
A Mediterranean-style eating pattern has been shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and heart-related illnesses, type 2 diabetes, some forms of cancer, and more! This eating pattern has also been shown to manage these conditions.

Take charge of your health this season! Each week, we will focus on one topic to improve—small, simple steps towards health! Healthy eating information will be offered on Tuesdays (beginning October 13th) from 10:00a-11:00a. We will offer seasonal cooking demonstrations each Thursday (concluding November 19th) from 10:00a-11:00a. Can’t attend live? No problem! All sessions will be recorded and available for later viewing.

  • October 27th: Swap your Fats
  • November 3rd: Increasing Fruits & Vegetables
  • November 10th: Whole Grains
  • November 17th: Rethink your Sweets
