Cooking Under Pressure

What is Cooking Under Pressure?

If you are contemplating an electric pressure cooker, or if you recently received one but don’t know how to use it, this workshop is for you! Cooking Under Pressure is designed to help get dinner on the table with the goal of healthier meals for your family. This class will help you learn to use an electric pressure cooker/multi-series cooker. Participants will learn food safety, nutrition, recipe resources, and how to use the cooker through preparation of pressure cooker recipes. This is a hands-on workshop, and there will be a tasting at the conclusion of the workshop.

Registration
Registration is $15 per participant and pre-registration is required by July 8, 2019, at 5 p.m. Email Cassidy Hall at cdhobbs3@ncsu.edu or call 919-989-5380 to register. Space is limited to 15 participants. Class will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Johnston Ag Center in the Demonstration Kitchen.

Please drop off or mail your $15 registration fee to the Johnston Agriculture Center (2736 NC 210 Hwy, Smithfield, NC 27577). You will not be registered until your registration fee is received.
