Cooking at Home: Knife Skills Workshop

Knife skills are a basic skill for cooking. Learn how to hold, use, and care for various knives while learning how to work with fresh foods!

This is a demonstration-style virtual workshop for youth, teens, and adults. Youth (recommended ages 12 and up) must participate with an adult. Participants are welcome to practice along with us (optional).

This workshop will be held at 6 p.m. on December 3, 2020. Participants will learn the basics of knife care and use complete with a demonstration of various cuts referred to in recipes while using fresh fruits and vegetables. You must register for this event being held via Zoom. Upon registration, you will receive a follow-up email with log-in details and ingredients you’ll need if you choose to practice with us. We will be preparing three recipes. A friendly reminder will be sent prior to the start of the event.
