North Carolina Cooperative Extension is inviting all growers to attend a Soybean
Field Day, August 28th at the Livestock Arena, 520 County Home Rd, Smithfield
NC. Meeting will begin at 7:30AM with breakfast. Extension specialist and agents
will discuss soybeans weed, insect, and disease management. The meeting will
end at 10:00 AM after a field plot tour. Anyone interested should call the
Cooperative Extension Office at (919) 989-5380 by August 24th. (2 Hours of
NODX pesticide and CCA credits will be offered).

Cotton Field Day August 30th. The meeting will be start at the 1209 Bay
Valley Road, Kenly NC at the Farm shop of Joey Holland. Dr. Guy Collins
will discuss cotton defoliation and variety trial information. The meeting will
