The workshop will take place in the auditorium at the Johnston County Center at 6:30 pm.
Workshop instructor is Dan Wells, Johnston County Livestock Agent. This course has been approved for two hours of Continuing Education Credit (CEC) for Certified Animal Waste Applicators as well as two hours of CEC for Licensed Pesticide Applicators in N, O D, and X categories. If you have either or both of these licenses, please bring your license card(s) to the workshop. There is no need to pre-register for this workshop. Wood 101 is a workshop for hobbyists and craftspeople interested in learning about and working with wood for fun or profit. Those interested in carpentry, firewood, wood crafts, and products like decking and furniture will want to participate.
The low registration fee of $45 includes all educational materials, refreshments & lunch, and a complimentary all-day parking pass on campus. The workshop is being held in Hodges Wood Lab on the NCSU campus.
Class size is limited to 30 participants (waiting list will be initiated if necessary)
