JoCo Grows Agriculture stands to tell the story of agriculture in efforts to preserve agricultural land through educating consumers who are often disconnected from agriculture. The JoCo Grows Committee is composed of agribusiness owners, farmers, and community members who are passionate about preserving our agricultural landscape and economy in Johnston County given the uptake in new residents and communities competing for valuable farmland. We are grateful to be a resource to local farms in Johnston County through marketing efforts driving traffic to local farms and agritourism events as a strategy to educate consumers.
