Explore new ways to use your favorite cooking tools with our Kitchen Tech series!

There are tons of kitchen tools available to the amateur home cook, however, some of the tools can be really overwhelming. Even seasoned cooks can sometimes find themselves unsure of how to get the most out of their kitchen appliances. Review the schedule below and join the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center for one or all of our Kitchen Tech Cooking Classes. Classes will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a registration fee of $20.00. Experience hands-on meal prepping, cooking and storage. Leave with a full stomach and goodies to take home!

March 25, 2019 – Electric Pressure Cookers

Learn how to safely operate and prep meals for electric pressure cookers, including the popular instant pot!

Learn to grill all the meats, vegetables, and fruits you could want at any cookout! Then wow your friends with your new grill master skills!

Pre-registration is required. You can register online or contact the office at 252-232-2261. Class size is limited and reservations are confirmed upon receipt of registration fee. Payments can be made in person at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Currituck County Center or by mailing a check made payable to “Currituck County” to 120 Community Way, Barco, NC 27917.
