What – A.S.P.I.R.E. 2 HIGHER EDUCATION:
ACT SUPPLEMENTAL PREPARATION IN RURAL EDUCATION

When – The class will begin on Monday June 18 with a diagnostic exam. Classes will be taught mostly on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00-4:00 p.m. each day. There will be 4 full-length exams including the diagnostic ACT exam. A more detailed schedule can be found on the ASPIRE Application Information page.

Where – Johnston County Cooperative Extension – 2736 NC 210 Hwy, Smithfield, NC 27577.

Cost – This is a $165 class ($100 refundable, based on attendance and taking all 4 exams). This type of instruction is worth over $1000 in the private industry.

Why – There is a gap between the average score on standardized test needed for College and the average score of Johnston County students. This program is designed to help students bridge that gap and get into college.

How – By participating in an A.S.P.I.R.E. ACT Class, you will learn the latest techniques and strategies to improve your ACT score and increase your chances of getting into college! There will be 4 full-length ACT Exams for you to practice your techniques learned in class.

The program includes 30 hours of ACT prep instruction, 4 ACT full-length practice exams with score analysis and breakdown, The Princeton Review ACT study manual, The Princeton Review 1,460 practice question manual, and The Princeton Review selective college admissions booklet.
