New Way to Access Information From NC Cooperative Extension

Johnston County residents now have the expertise of all of the nation’s land-grant universities at their fingertips, thanks to a new web tool offered by the Johnston County Center of NC Cooperative Extension.With this new Extension resource, called the Ask an Expert Widget, county residents can submit questions, via the county Extension web site, at any time of day or night, said Bryant Spivey, County Extension Director. Employees at the Johnston County Center of NC Cooperative Extension recently endeavored to save state tax dollars and to protect the environment as they enhanced their professional knowledge and skills.The Johnston employees were among Extension workers all across North Carolina who attended the agency's first statewide virtual training conference, an event which required no registration fees and no overnight stays. Employees of the Johnston County Center of NC Cooperative Extension recently learned to use a new resource for sharing information with county residents.
