Extension Master Gardener training class

Will meet on Wednesday afternoons from 1:30pm until 4:30pm at the Johnston County Agriculture Center 2736 NC Highway 210, Smithfield, NC 27577. To apply for the class fill out the application and return it to Shawn Banks at the above addres or e-mail shawn_banks@ncsu.edu. Applications should be in by Tuesday, January 5. There is a charge to cover the cost of the class.

Classes begin January 20th and meet every Wednesday through April 14th.

Master Gardeners helping identify a plant for a client

Master Gardener volunteers are part of the volunteer staff of NC State University's Cooperative Extension Service. They are members of the local community who take an active interest in their lawns, trees, shrubs, and gardens. They provide unbiased, research based educational assistance and programs in horticulture and environmental issues to the gardening public. Visit the Extension Master Gardener web site to learn more.
